Name - Spencer Adelaide
Age - 17
Race - Human/ Healer

Appearance -
Dark black hair matched with black nails, Spencer wears jeans with stylized holes and t-shirts that scream rebellion but were bought from a designer. He is 5'8", with an average build.

Personality -
Faux bad-ass brat, Spencer has a smart mouth and likes to give plenty of attitude. His heart, however, is pure good - and when it counts, he can turn on the good vibes. For the most part Spencer does not act like a traditional healer, in fact he's more of a bored kid rebelling against suburbia.

Ability -
Spencer was born with the powers of a Soul Healing witch, the ability to relieve another person's negative energy and cleanse their spirit. He also retains wisdom from memories of his past lives, though he chooses to impart it through not-so-kind opinions. It almost borders on good advice for a better life. Almost. If he dies, Spencer's soul is enchanted to be reincarnated intact (See History). He cannot replace or alter a person's soul or morality because the cleansing is not permanent. Apart from this, Spencer is just an average teenage boy.

History -
In early 17th Century Somerset, England, there lived a powerful coven of white witches who specialized in "Soul healing" - the ability to cleanse a damaged spirit. However, they were often hunted and killed by either the forces of Evil or the increasingly popular Witch Trials. Before long, their craft was kept hidden and forgotten, their talents hopelessly wasted. Fearing extinction, the coven risked exposure and death by creating the "Grace of Oblivion" - a spell that enchants one's soul so that it can be reincarnated completely intact, retaining all memories and powers of the former life. The coven eventually went to the gallows, but knew that their abilities were now eternal.

And so it was that the Soul Healer's Coven continued throughout history. However, this was not without its consequences. The "Grace of Oblivion" enchantment could not be permanent, and in each reincarnation their memories and powers deteriorated. Eventually, the spell completely wore off for many of the coven, leaving only a few left still to exist. In addition, there was no way to control in who or where their souls would return - constantly separating and changing those who remained. There were cases of some reversing the spell just to escape the endless cycle. Most live in isolation, feeling the effects of imposed immortality. However, despite forgetting most of their craft and each other, the coven retains that one important ability to heal a person's soul.

18 years ago, one member successfully repeated the enchantment, having dedicated his life to restoring the coven. However, he was killed by complete accident by a reckless driver while attempting to find other members. Once again, he was forced to repeat life from the start, now in upstate New York, until his memories and powers began to return. Spencer, as he was now called, became a completely different person because of his rather mundane, eventless life. At first, he was not at all interested in continuing to cheat death or save other people. However, the good nature of his soul inside urged him to find the others. Now more than willing to leave behind his insidious life, Spencer then embarked on a cross-country hitch-hiking trip to L.A, California. And he's even helping those he finds along the way...reluctantly.
