Name - Vi Vi's History in the Game - Vi ran home only to find out that her home was the real trap. She found her mother, father and little sister dead and was again confronted with a group of Bringers. For the second time that night she just managed to escape and didn’t dare look back. Following her Watcher’s instructions, she made her way to Sunnydale, California.
After arriving in Sunnydale, she stayed at Giles’s home with him and a few other Potentials. Buffy was very much out of it at the time, which was why Giles was housing the Potentials, but their roles were soon to be reversed. There was a Bringer attack on Giles’s residence which ended with one Potential dead and Giles in the hospital with a gut wound from a Bringer’s knife. Vi was there during the attack but made it through unscathed. As Giles recovered Vi went to stay at Buffy’s house with the other Potentials.
Mostly she kept to herself and didn’t particularly befriend anyone. That was until a quiet and rather standoffish British fellow in rough physical shape ended up at Buffy’s house. It was obvious that everyone knew him, but no one wanted anything to do with him. Though Wesley was obviously in a lot of pain, he was one of the first people at Buffy’s house that paid any real attention to Vi and for the short time he was there did a great deal to change her outlook – though he didn’t even realize it.
By the time a woman from Los Angeles, Fred, came to pick up Wesley, Vi had just found out that he used to be a Watcher. She asked if he would be her Watcher. Wesley informed her that he had never truly been a Watcher and that her association with him would be far too dangerous, but Vi had already made up her mind.
Wesley disappeared from the picture, but later two new people came into town, two people who said that they worked with Wesley. Angel, though obviously a vampire, quickly in Vi’s mind came to be her friend because he protected her and the same went for Faith who was also nice to her and who she has come to idolize for her strength. At the end of Angel and Faith’s visit to Sunnydale Vi had a severe falling out with Dawn, who had become her friend, and all in all she had decided that there was nothing left for her in Sunnydale. Vi convinced Angel and Faith to take her back to Los Angeles with them so that she could find Wesley.
When she arrived at the Hyperion, however, Wesley was nowhere to be found. Vi meanwhile befriended Lorne only to shortly afterwards find her life again in danger as Angel turned to Angelus. Vi hid upstairs with Lorne during Angelus’s first attack against Faith and Faith’s new Watcher Gabe. Sometime after Angelus had fled, Wesley returned, but Vi didn’t even get to tell him that she was there before Gunn and Wesley became engaged in a heated argument. Vi had been frightened enough without hearing the people who were supposed to save her sound like they were going to kill each other.
Needing to get away from all of the chaos, Vi headed out on her own to take a look around the city. Pretty quickly though she managed to get herself lost. Lucky for her she came across a nice girl named Kelly. On their way to get something to eat they came across another girl, Myra-Lena, who was being attacked. It all seemed pretty straightforward as Vi and Kelly went to help out Myra-Lena – only they discovered that Myra-Lena was anything but an ordinary girl when she turned around and ate her attacker.
Tentatively befriending Myra-Lena, Vi and Kelly went on to also meet up with a boy named Spencer who Vi has developed a crush on. Spencer’s attention however, has been with Ezra, another boy that the group saved from a mugger. During their encounter with the mugger, Myra-Lena was shot and after a crazed time at the hospital, the group has decided to once again set off on their own.
