These well-camouflaged seahorses live only on gorgonian coral, and blend in so well they’re nearly impossible to see. They weren’t discovered until 1969 on a collected piece of coral. This pygmy seahorse species comes in both purple and pink, depending on which color of gorgonian coral it is using as a host.
